Terms of Service

Effective date: 27 August 2026

Tizo is a restaurant point-of-sale, QR ordering and billing service operated by Analytics Tower (“we”, “our”, “us”). These terms apply when you use tizo.in, the Tizo Android app, the captain app your floor staff use, or the QR menu your customers scan at a table. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use Tizo.

1. Definitions

2. Your account

An account belongs to the restaurant, not to an individual staff member. You are responsible for who you give access to, for the staff PINs and terminals you enrol, and for anything done from them. Tell us promptly if you think an account or a terminal has been compromised, and we will help you cut it off.

You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business you are registering.

3. What you are responsible for

4. Plans and payment

Prices are in Indian rupees and exclude any taxes we are required to charge. Fees are paid in advance for the period chosen. There is no bond and no lock-in: you can stop at any time by telling us, and the service continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund part-used periods. We may change prices, but not for a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a renewal at a new price.

5. Offline use — what it does and does not promise

The operator terminal is built to keep billing and printing KOTs when the internet drops. Work done during an outage is held on that device and syncs when the connection returns.

Understand the limit that follows from this: until it syncs, that work exists only on that device. If the device is lost, wiped or damaged before it reconnects, we cannot recover what was on it. The QR menu on a diner's phone needs internet, because their phone is loading your live menu.

6. Payments taken from diners

Where online payment collection is enabled, payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway under your own merchant account and settle directly to you. We are not a payment processor, we do not hold your money, and refunds, chargebacks and disputes with a diner are between you, that diner and your gateway. Your gateway's terms apply alongside these.

7. Your content and your data

Your Content is yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service — to store it, display it to your diners and staff, back it up and produce your reports. We do not sell it and we do not use it for our own purposes. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

You can ask for an export of your data at any time while your account is active, and ask us to delete it after you leave. We may keep invoice records for as long as Indian tax law requires.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use Tizo to:

9. Availability

We work to keep Tizo running and we will give notice of planned maintenance when we can. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we are not responsible for outages caused by your internet connection, your hardware, or a third party such as a payment gateway or hosting provider. No paid uptime guarantee applies unless we have given you one in writing.

10. Our software

The Tizo software, its design and the Tizo name remain ours. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your restaurant for as long as your account is active. Nothing here transfers ownership.

11. Suspension and ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used unlawfully, or that has unpaid fees after we have asked — and where the situation allows it, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. On closure you can request an export of your data for 30 days, after which we may delete it.

12. Liability

Tizo is a tool for running your business; the business decisions, the tax positions and the guest relationships stay yours. To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost goodwill or indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Changes to these terms

If these terms change we will update the effective date above, and tell account holders directly when the change is significant. Continuing to use Tizo after that means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
