Does the billing really work without internet?
Yes. Billing, KOT printing and table management run on the counter device itself. Orders taken during an outage are stored locally and sync automatically once the connection returns. The QR menu on a guest's phone does need internet, because their phone is loading the live menu.
Do I need to buy a special POS machine?
No. Tizo runs in a browser on any Android tablet, laptop or desktop you already have, and prints to standard 58mm ESC/POS thermal printers that cost around ₹2,000.
Do my customers have to download an app?
No. They scan the QR on the table and the menu opens in their phone's browser.
Are the invoices GST compliant?
Yes. Invoices carry your GSTIN, correct tax splits and sequential invoice numbers, and sales reports can be exported for filing.
How long does setup take?
For founding-programme restaurants we do it for you — send your menu photos on WhatsApp and we handle menu entry, QR printing and printer setup, usually within a couple of days.
